All of us here at Mediaocean couldn’t have been prouder to hear of Bill’s win as Ernst & Young New York Entrepreneur of the Year in the Technology category.
Not only is the award incredibly prestigious (essentially a who’s-who of game-changing business leaders in one of the most competitive regions in the world) but it’s also a great indication of the importance and value of everything we’ve been working towards thus far.
Other entrepreneurs receiving the honor included Chobani CEO Hamdi Ulukaya; FUBU CEO Daymond John; and, closer to our own space, AppNexus CEO Brian O’Kelley. Of everyone in the region, Bill was selected as the technology leader who most represents the entrepreneurial spirit that will lead business, and the global economy, forward.
The award was a hard-won, very well-deserved recognition of Bill’s vision and leadership, and a clear recognition of Mediaocean as a company on the cutting edge of technology and business. It’s also a great indication of how far we’ve come in the short time since our company formed, and the true impact and meaning of everything we’ve been building.
